When the chore lives on the wall: shared screens and NFC
Not everyone works in front of a screen. Then the chore has to live where the work is done.
In spaces where people are on the move, an app on a private phone is often the wrong place for a chore list.
One shared screen per department
A kiosk device stays logged in for one department. Staff check off without logging in every time, and when it's idle it shows who's ahead. A tablet is the usual form, but a browser can be put in kiosk mode too.
NFC where the chore belongs
A chore can be tied to an NFC tag that sits where the work is done. Then you hold the device to the tag instead of searching a list. It needs an Android device with NFC.
What it gives the manager
Nothing new to fill in, but an overview that's up to date because it updates itself when the work is done.
